• Insure the architectural plan and treatment are thoroughly understood and that feasible changes will be made at the lender, investor, owner or agency’s direction
  • A flexible but definite communication system between the developer / builder and architect team, to meet the design, schedule, and cost objectives
  • Make available cost data at any time to insure all parties that the cost of the project is reasonable and supports the design and functional requirements of the project.
  • Solve any unexpected design problems that may arise during the design.
  • Make sure that the interpretations of agreements made at the development conference have not changed. The objective is to eliminate any surprises at the submission of working documents conference.
  • Work closely with investors of LIHTC properties, to ensure placed-in-service dates and renovation construction schedules maximize the credits available while minimizing any inconveniences to existing residents
  • Communicate with owners, lenders, municipalities and housing agencies at every step in the development process, providing any required reporting in a timely and professional fashion
  • Produce the highest quality of housing possible at the given level of financial resources
  • Sensitivity to residents during renovation projects to ensure that residents are not displaced longer than necessary
